In 1936, a portico was built in the church and a clock was placed on its facade, thus becoming the prominent building of K\u00e1lvin t\u00e9r. In 1938, based on B\u00e9la \u00c1rokh\u00e1ti&#8217;s plans, Ott\u00f3 Rieger expanded it to a two-manual. Its 350 kg bell was cast by Ferenc Egry in 1928.
